Why You’ll Love This No-Bake Kinder Bueno Slice

If you’re a fan of Kinder Bueno, this recipe is going to become one of your favourites.

It combines crunchy digestive biscuits, creamy condensed milk, chunks of Kinder Bueno and a smooth white chocolate topping into one incredibly easy no-bake dessert.

Because there’s no baking involved, it’s perfect for beginner bakers.

It’s also ideal when you want to make something impressive without spending hours in the kitchen.

The texture is what makes this recipe so special.

The base is soft, chewy and packed with pieces of Kinder Bueno, while the white chocolate topping adds a delicious sweetness and a satisfying snap.

Not only is it quick to prepare, but it also uses just a handful of ingredients.

As a result, it’s perfect for parties, family gatherings, birthdays or simply when you fancy making an easy dessert at home.

Better still, it can be made well in advance.

That means less stress when entertaining and more time enjoying the finished result.

What Makes This Recipe Special?

There are plenty of no-bake traybakes out there, however this one stands out because it combines simplicity with incredible flavour.

Kinder Bueno already contains layers of crispy wafer, smooth hazelnut filling and milk chocolate.

Therefore, adding it to the base instantly creates a dessert that tastes much more complicated than it actually is.

The condensed milk binds everything together beautifully.

Meanwhile, the digestive biscuits provide the perfect amount of texture.

The white chocolate topping balances the flavours perfectly and gives the slice a clean finish.

Most importantly, the recipe requires very little effort.

Simply mix, press into a tin, chill and enjoy.

Why This Recipe Works So Well

Digestive biscuits provide structure while also absorbing some of the moisture from the condensed milk.

This creates a slice that is soft but still holds together beautifully.

The melted butter helps bind the mixture while adding richness.

Meanwhile, the Kinder Bueno pieces create pockets of chocolate and hazelnut flavour throughout the slice.

The white chocolate topping adds contrast in both texture and flavour.

Once chilled, it creates a firm top layer that slices neatly and looks fantastic.

Because everything sets in the fridge, there is no risk of overbaking or drying anything out.

The result is a foolproof dessert that delivers consistently great results.

Why I Love Simple Recipes

One of the reasons I love recipes like this No-Bake Kinder Bueno Slice is because they’re exactly the kind of recipes I created my latest cookbook, Fitwaffle’s Easy 6, for.

When life is busy, the last thing most of us want is a recipe with a huge shopping list and pages of complicated instructions.

Instead, I love creating recipes that are simple, approachable and genuinely achievable on a busy day.

That’s why every recipe in Fitwaffle’s Easy 6 uses 6 or fewer main ingredients.

The goal is to take the stress out of cooking and baking while still creating food that feels exciting, comforting and packed with flavour.

Some recipes also use what I call the Staple Six ingredients:

  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Olive oil
  • Vegetable oil (or another flavourless oil for baking)
  • Paprika
  • Cayenne pepper

By keeping recipes simple and relying on a handful of ingredients, you can spend less time shopping, less time preparing food and more time enjoying it.

This No-Bake Kinder Bueno Slice is a perfect example of that philosophy.

With only six ingredients, you can create a dessert that looks bakery-worthy while requiring very little effort.

Whether you’re short on time, new to baking, cooking for a family or simply someone who gets overwhelmed by long ingredient lists, Fitwaffle’s Easy 6 is designed to make cooking and baking feel easier and more enjoyable.

The book contains 100 sweet and savoury recipes, all created around the same simple idea: fewer ingredients, less stress and maximum flavour.

Chill Time

4 hours

Tin Size

8×8-inch (20x20cm) square tin

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

Line an 8×8-inch square baking tin with baking paper.

Leave some overhang on the sides to make removing the slice easier later.

Step 2

Crush the digestive biscuits into fine crumbs.

You can do this using a food processor or by placing them in a bag and crushing them with a rolling pin.

Step 3

Pour the biscuit crumbs into a large mixing bowl.

Add the melted butter and condensed milk.

Mix everything together until fully combined.

Step 4

Break 6 Kinder Bueno sticks into chunks.

Fold them gently through the mixture.

Try not to crush them too much as the larger pieces add great texture.

Step 5

Transfer the mixture into the prepared tin.

Press it down firmly and evenly using the back of a spoon or spatula.

Make sure the surface is level.

Step 6

Place the white chocolate and 15g butter into a microwave-safe bowl.

Heat on a medium power setting (around 500W) in 30-second bursts.

Stir thoroughly between each burst until completely melted and smooth.

Step 7

Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the biscuit base.

Spread it out evenly so it reaches all the edges.

Step 8

Break the remaining 4 Kinder Bueno sticks into 16 chunks.

Arrange them on top in a neat 4×4 grid pattern.

Press them gently into the chocolate.

This will help guide your slices later.

Step 9

Transfer the tin to the fridge.

Chill for at least 4 hours or until completely firm.

Step 10

Once fully set, remove the slice from the tin.

Cut into 16 squares using a sharp knife.

Step 11

Serve and enjoy.

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.

Tips for the Best Results

Press the Base Firmly

The more firmly you press the mixture into the tin, the easier it will be to slice later.

Melt Chocolate Slowly

White chocolate can burn easily.

Use a medium microwave setting and stir regularly.

Chill Fully Before Slicing

Although it may look set sooner, allowing the slice to chill for the full four hours produces cleaner slices.

Use a Hot Knife

For neat edges, dip your knife in hot water and wipe dry before each cut.

Store in the Fridge

The texture stays firmer and fresher when stored chilled.
